Sophomore Album?
The last several months have been an amazing journey, as I write songs for my upcoming album, the dreaded “sophomore album.” So, as I approach this album, I want every song to be intentional and obvious that I am walking the talk, really living it out…
Since last fall, I have been on this journey and the writing process has shown me how much I have grown, and how much I still need to grown in Him. I can not sing, write or play one note without His providence over it all. And MAN does He show it some times!
Some songs flow like water when God puts a passage, message or cause on my heart. And other times when I sit down to write, the well is dry. So, while the “creative process” has taken longer than I would have liked, God is showing me that is really just in time…His time.
I would love for you to join me at an Evening of Worship Friday, June 26 at 7pm. I will talk about this journey in a worship concert and invite you to join me on this ride as we cruise back into the studio July 7-11 in Seattle, WA.
This is a free concert at my home church, Faith at 91st and College. Please join us.
